Welcome

Welcome to the Rotary Club of Rose Bay

Are you a community-minded individual who wants to make positive changes in your community and the world?
Our club members are dedicated people who share a passion for community service and friendship.
Becoming a Rotarian connects you with a diverse group who share your drive to give back.
RI President-elect R. Gordon R. McInally calls for Rotary to create hope
in the world by working for peace and mental wellbeing.
He urges members to engage in tough conversations
and earn the trust that’s necessary to realize these values.

Who we are

Rotary is a global network of 1.2 million neighbours, friends, leaders, and problem-solvers who see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change – across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.

Solving real problems takes real commitment and vision. For more than 110 years, Rotary's people of action have used their passion, energy, and intelligence to take action on sustainable projects. From literacy and peace to water and health, we are always working to better our world, and we stay committed to the end.

What we do

Rotary members believe that we have a shared responsibility to take action on our world’s most persistent issues. Our 35,000+ clubs work together and focus on these key causes:

  • Promote peace
  • Fight disease
  • Provide clean water, sanitation, and hygiene
  • Save mothers and children
  • Support education
  • Grow local economies
  • Protecting the environment

Our mission

We provide service to others, promote integrity, and advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through our fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders.

Vision statement

Together, we see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change — across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.

Our vision is to be recognised as integral to our local community, to make a difference by aligning with local needs and causes that support individuals at-risk, disadvantaged or with high-needs, and to support causes internationally that improve lives and create a better world.

The Four Way Test

The Four-Way Test is a non-partisan and non-sectarian ethical guide for Rotarians to use for their personal and professional relationships. The test has been translated into more than 100 languages, and Rotarians recite it at club meetings:
Of the things we think, say or do

  1. Is it the TRUTH?
  2. Is it FAIR to all concerned?
  3. Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
  4. Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
